Candigest Plus!

Friday, January 2nd, 2009

Do you suffer from any of the following symptoms: abdominal pain, Constipation, diarrhoea, gas, bloating, inDigestion, heartburn, recurrent vaginal yeast infections, bad breath, skin rashes, allergies, chemical sensitivities, muscle aches, cold hands and feet, fatigue, depression, irritability, difficulty concentrating or immune system malfunction?

Any one of these symptoms can be caused by the overgrowth of candida albicans – a single-celled yeast-like organism that resides in your intestinal tract and is perhaps most commonly associated with the condition termed ‘thrush’. It is estimated that nearly 16 million people in the UK suffer with an overgrowth of Candida.

Normally it does no harm and its growth is kept in check by the ‘friendly’ intestinal bacteria that are essential to your body’s proper functioning. However, if this fine balance is disturbed, an overgrowth of candida can result, and the toxins produced by the yeast can cause the unpleasant symptoms outlined above.

Fortunately there is a natural tool to fight candida overgrowth – candigest.

Green Tea & Weight Loss

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

Green tea may also help you lose weight acording to ealry tests done on lab mice.
the overweight mice were given a trail run of green tea as part of their diet.

early results showed:

  • Less weight and fat gain
  • Less fat in the liver.
  • Lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

A healthy liver isn’t fatty. But obesity - in mice or in people - can lead to fatty buildup in the liver and cause nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.

The University of Connecticut’s Richard Bruno, PhD, RD, and colleagues report their findings in February’s edition of The Journal of Nutrition.

Vitamin D good for you?

Vitamin D

At last a US study has shown that a low level of vitamin D is linked to a in increased risk of heart disease! Which is great news for anyone who suffers from stress and high blood pressure.

A lack of vitamin D is already known to cause weakened bones and has also been linked to multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Vitamin D mostly comes from being outside in the sunshine, which if you live in the UK means you might not get that much.
